Learn to braise beautiful certified Black Angus English cut short ribs with pommes fondant from our Michelin-trained chefs while enjoying a hand-selected pairing from the owners of Aver Family Vineyards, John and Carolyn Aver! In this exciting collaboration, you'll learn how to marinate, pan-sear, and braise short ribs to tender fall-off-the-bone perfection, along with a stunning, classic pommes fondant and an exclusive pairing of unreleased 2017 Family Album Red Wine.


*Please note: this class is completed in 3 parts:

  1. 30 minutes of simple prep to marinate the ribs the night before class.
  2. The live class will begin at 12pm where we'll sear the ribs and start the "low and slow" braising process.
  3. We'll reconvene at 4pm to finish the braise, prepare Fondant Potatoes, and meet the winemakers!


Due to shipping restrictions, Aver Vineyards can only ship wine to Truffle Shufflers living in: Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Texas. Please note, if you live outside of these states, you'll need to provide 1 bottle of red wine for the marinade (plus more for drinking is recommended 😉). 


Ingredient kit includes a day of quality time together. Also pairs well with: mood lighting, a babysitter for the kids, your favorite sous chef, candles, and romance!
