Heart warming comfort food

this was my first time (that I know of) eating traditional Puerto Rican food. I absolutely loved the mofongo and will need to make this a LOT more! The shrimp was outstanding in the delightful salsa criolla. I loved taking the class with Chef Tucker especially - - she's wonderful to be sharing a kitchen with :-)

Amazing Salted Caramel Macaroons

Jeremy is so knowledgeable and skilled with baking. We made the most amazing salted caramel- I couldn’t help but snack on it throughout the class. Although my first batch of macaroons didn’t have ‘feet’ Jeremy gave wonderful feedback to help with the next batch. Although mine were not perfect, they were delicious and I had a great time!

Best icing ever

I enjoyed the macaron class although it went a little over the planned time. The chef gave great feedback that allowed me to make modifications to improve the later batches that went in the oven. The icing is incredible. My friends also recommend eating the macarons with a pretzel to enhance the salty sweetness. I may try adding some pretzel bits to the icing next time.

Shoutout to Chef Tucker for another amazing dish with plenty of savory flavors. This was a pretty intense class as so many things were going on. We were having trouble keeping up, but the end result was freaking amazing.

Great fun and a tasty meal

Learned how to peal a plantain. (If that doesn’t sound like much you have never tried to peel one!). Worked on perfecting cutting vegetables exactly the same size. And created a new meal that I had never had before.

Loved this recipe and first time cooking with my lovely bride! After meeting Chef Tucker in person and being one of her biggest fans on the show I couldn’t resist buying it for my wife….with the promise of cooking with her! We had so much fun! The dish was excellent and had enough for breakfast the next morning using the sofrito over eggs!

This was a really outstanding class. There was SO much to do, but the time really flew! Chef Tucker answered all of our questions, explained each step, and even showed us how to save off the rest of the rest of the Sofrrito in ice cube trays. This was my first experience with the delicious chicharrons as well, and I'm on a mission to find the best ones. Chef Tucker and Ivy are the hostesses with the mostest(s): always with a smile, interesting tidbits, and a reminder to stay hydrated!
This class comes highly recommended by others, and it's well deserved!

Chef Tucker is an expert in filleting a fish and she passed that knowledge along beautifully. We had never done this before and it turned out pretty close to perfect. We were so happy with not only the instructions, but the meal was sooo good. Looking forward to our next experience with you.

Yum Yum Mofongo!

One of the best classes with Truffle Shuffle! I could tell when I unpacked the ingredients kit that it was going to be good, but it turned out to be absolutely delicious! Chef Tucker is a pro and moved us through the discussion of the mise en place and ingredients, then on to the food prep and cooking. Even though we had a lot to do, Chef Tucker kept us on track, answered questions, reminded us to stay hydrated :-) and made sure we all finished with beautiful and scrumptious plates of mofongo with shrimp criolla salsa!! I loved learning how to make the soffrito and the fact that we made extra to use in future dishes! I definitely recommend the class...it's yummy!!!!

So Yummy!

I don't cook along since my kitchen is too small, but I bought the kit and watched the live presentation. I took notes so I could refer to them when I cooked the recipe(s) the next day. I only made the sofrito and shrimp Salsa Criollo, which is very tasty. I made baked plantain chips instead of the mofungo.

It's only me and I ended up with four servings of the shrimp (which I will eat with rice or grits), and I froze six cubes of the sofrito for later use.

Improvements: Slow the pace down a little. We had done prep work but still found ourselves scrambling at times.
Chicken Kyiv with Chef Anna

This was our first class cooking with Chef Anna. The end result was magical as the Chicken Kyiv and Golden Beet Vinaigrette was off the charts. We really enjoyed the meal. The only other feedback I will provide is she was going pretty fast through the process. I know several others in the call were asking her to slow the pace. Again, the end result was amazing.

It was special to have Tucker cook and show us the proper butchery! And how to use rosemary to determine the right temp for oil.
We were on-line with three of our TS Friends and can't wait for the next outing.
Special announcement of Tyler & La Toya's new child really made the session special.
Letting us stay on-line after cooking allowed us to enjoy a virtual dinner party with our friends.
Another great inter-active personal experience!
