Chef Jeremy here! This cake takes inspiration from an Italian almond torta and an Algerian Basboussa. It is a delightful way to combine citrus and almonds. This is a cake that I could eat again and again and again!! The candied oranges are probably my favorite part and I use them for all sorts of purposes in the kitchen!
