While working in the best Michelin Star restaurant kitchens, including The French Laundry, Chefs Jason McKinney and Tyler Vorce loved incorporating truffles into their dishes. Sarah, who worked the front of the house at TFL, shared the Chef's love of truffles. Together, they were in awe of how one dish, made with fresh truffles and a few simple ingredients, could create special, ever-lasting memories for diners.

The Chefs conceived and launched Truffle Shuffle as an honest truffle company to provide the finest truffle products and consciously sourced and traced fresh truffles. Account Manager

We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager to join our team! 

This position is almost completely client-facing and provides an incredible opportunity for you to flex your customer service and high-end concierge muscles. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks spanning the entire client management lifecycle. Once a sales associate hands off a client, you will be responsible for leading them through the entire event creation process, culminating with their day-of class experience. This position requires high-level communication and problem-solving skills as well as a willingness to be available to clients when they need you - this may mean allowing high-touch clients to access you via phone or email after hours from time to time. We are growing rapidly, and need people on our account management team that are willing to learn quickly and that get excited about working in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

- Work within Hubspot every day, responding to current client inquiries and setting up calls with new clients that have been handed over by the sales team

- Function as a liaison between the client and the kitchen, especially regarding product needed to accommodate guest list fluctuations and custom menu specifications

- Work with the client to balance their desires for a VIP, unique experience with the existing Truffle Shuffle event experience model

- Creating event bookings and managing fluctuating details of those events up until the event is completed

- Communicate with clients regarding guest changes, menu specifications, and more

- Ensure that any billing issues, questions, or lingering balances are dealt with in a timely manner

- Be available on the day of events to ensure that any issues can be immediately and efficiently resolved

- Foster relationships for re-bookings and referrals from clients

Customer Experience Associate

Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the customer experience team; these tasks may include (but are not limited to): 

- Ensure our guests have the best experience possible

- Monitoring company email accounts and making sure sales or shipping queries (for example) are sent to the correct team member or department

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the product distribution and fulfillment team; these tasks may include (but are not limited to): 

- Gather printed materials including shipping labels, inserts and out of place

- Ensure that all kit items are accounted for

- Maintaining accurate box count for the packing line

- Making sure that items are placed in each box with care and precision

- Assist with loading the delivery trucks for product shipments

- Assist other teams and departments as needed to ensure timely, excellent delivery of products and experiences

- Organize kits according to event specifications

- Monitor online sales and accurate fulfill individual orders on case by case basis

- Gather materials for online orders

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the fulfillment and distribution team; these tasks may include (but are not limited to): 

- Work with Director of Operations to manage and keep a tight inventory

- Ordering products and ingredients including food, dry goods, packaging, etc. 

- Proper management of lead times and order logistics

- Taking responsibility for receiving deliveries, organization and storage of those items, and delivering them to the appropriate departments and team members

- Manage and maintain receiving quality standards as required by the County of Alameda

- Manage and maintain overall safety and sanitation standards as required by the County of Alameda

- Ensure that all items are accounted for and quickly work to remediate missing items

- Process invoices and approve payments for vendors

- Maintain an eye on related budgets and communicate efficiently and quickly with the management teams

- Proper use of purchase orders and vendor relationship management

And while you are not required to be on camera, your presence and contribution to the show can and will enhance the overall guest experience. - Manning cameras and using other production equipment 

- Assisting with setting up and breaking down sets between events

- Assisting the chef and working together to produce the best experience for our guests

- Utilizing post-production software like Premiere Pro 

- Working with both video and still photography
