Together, they were in awe of how one dish, made with fresh truffles and a few simple ingredients, could create special, ever-lasting memories for diners.

The Chefs conceived and launched Truffle Shuffle as an honest truffle company to provide the finest truffle products and consciously sourced and traced fresh truffles. Duties and Responsibilities

May include (but are not limited to): 

- Set up prep stations and ensure the cleanliness of surfaces and tools/equipment

- Prep ingredients for kits (this may include washing, measuring, chopping, etc.)

- Ensure that all kit items are accounted for

- Work with the fulfillment team to pack kits 

- Assist with loading the delivery trucks for product shipments

- Assist other teams and departments as needed to ensure timely, excellent delivery of products and experiences

The Purchaser is an integral part of the operations team and is responsible for ordering, inventory, and receiving of products.  This position must have a strong grasp and understanding of supply chain logistics, vendor relationships, cost management, and communicate clearly with the distribution and kitchen fulfillment teams. This position is directly responsible for maintaining, and improving, the correct cost of goods.

Duties and Responsibilities

May vary and are not limited to: 

-Communicate with, establish, and manage vendor, purveyor, offsite warehousing and co-packing relationships - ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely deliveries that match ongoing operational requirements

- Appropriate and accurate project prioritization

-Support the kitchen team by ensuring all necessary items are accounted for and up to Truffle Shuffle standards

-Own and update KOPS pricing monthly

-Assist Chef Team with sourcing ingredients, R+D work, and ensuring compliance with existing recipe, prep sheet, and kit creation

-Ensure proper supply chain management; maintain vendor relationships and proper ordering cadence with multiple tiers of vendors required for the operation to run properly

-Own the pricing of all items ordered at Truffle Shuffle and have a deep understanding of the prices of all items purchased in the facility

-Manage and maintain proper monthly inventory, along with continuous updating and auditing of POs, invoices and freight/material transfer schedules 

-Oversee accuracy of provided prep sheets, running inventory, BEOs and update accordingly

-Oversee inventory and assist in product preparation, to ensure proper inventory rotation, counts, quality standards, and consistency

-Accurately audit, analyze, and own purchasing and receiving procedures, invoices, and pertinent data to identify and fix errors/discrepancies

-Manage all vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation and implementation into Airbase

-Own all food and packaging costs

-Own purchasing KPIs and identifies/executes on areas of improvement

-Develop and maintain purchasing systems from projections and calculators to ordering sheets 

-Place purchase orders to all current/future vendors for a range of packaging and food item SKUs - ensuring correct pricing, specifications, quality and quantity

-Continuously strives to improve delivery schedules, product qualities, lead-time management, cost reduction measures, and waste reduction

-Effectively resolves unforeseen issues relating to operations, supply chain breakdown, scheduling, purchasing, and quality/performance.

File and remit taxes and other financial obligations

Reconcile Bank Accounts, statements, and bookkeeping ledgers

Keep up-to-date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion areas
