Wash, dry, and cut the potato into quarters lengthwise, then slice each quarter to make 3 steak fries.
Transfer to a mixing bowl along with the canola oil and a healthy pinch of Balinese Truffle Salt. Toss to coat.
Spray an aluminum foil-lined sheet tray with pan spray.
Line the steak fries on the trays, leaving space between each fry. (This part is important! If the fries are too close together their neighbor's steam will make each other soggy. Make sure to leave plenty of space between each fry for ultimate crispiness.)
Transfer to your oven to bake. Rotate every 15 minutes until cooked through and crispy, about 45 minutes in total.
Finish with more salt to taste and serve alongside ketchup or mayonnaise. Enjoy!
