Tips from the Chef: Confetti Party Cupcakes

These are one of my absolute favorite cupcakes! The buttercream is so delicious and can really be made into any flavor by adding different extracts or flavoring oils! I did them with blue buttercream as an ode to the funfetti cake that I knew and loved as a child and as a nod to my time at Suzie Cakes. Also to have some fun with this recipe!

For next time:

You can mix in citrus zest, chocolate chips, nuts, freeze dried fruit, chopped candy bars, and more!! Play with it and find your favorite combination!!

A quick tip:

If your cupcakes overflow when you bake them, use the run over as a chip and dip it into your buttercream for a dreamy chef snack!!!
